The FA have launched a new initiative called Player Pass. It is an innovative way for The FA to directly support players involved in football and to have an ongoing dialogue with people in the grassroots game. Gadeside Rangers ventured into Europe over the weekend as
they travelled to Belgium to play in an international 11-a-side tournament hosted by top Belgian amateur side FC Irlande. Gadeside topped the group
stages without conceeding a goal before coming from a goal down to beat the hosts on penalties in the final. Read the match report

We are delighted to announce that
the FA have accepted Gadeside Rangers' application to take part in this season's FA Sunday Cup. The 1st round will take
place on Sunday 16th October where Gadeside will host Stevenage side FC Nirankari. The game will take place at Oxhey Jets FC with a 2pm kick-off.

The WSFL committee has announced that Evergreen Seniors (formerly MK Ginder) have
resigned from the league. As a result, the Premier Division will only have nine teams this season.

Draws for the various cup competitions have been
made this week which affect both Gadeside teams. Starting with the county cups; the 1st XI have been drawn at home to Welwyn & Hatfield League
side Verulam in the first round to be played on Sunday 2nd October. The 2nd XI have received a bye in the first round and have been drawn at home against Woodlands United, a side in the same league. This
game will be played on sunday 16th October. Click the following links for the full draws for the Sunday Senior and Sunday Junior cups.
In the WSFL Turner Trophies Cup, the 1st XI have a bye to the second round where they will face either Carpenders Park Rangers Reserves or The Pavilion. The 2nd XI face a tricky trip to much fancied third division side The Bell. Meanwhile, the 2nd XI have been at home to The Pavilion in the WSFL Junior Cup. All dates for these games are yet to be confirmed.
