County Cup Draws

The draws for the early round of the Herts County Cups have been made by the Herts FA. The first team return to the Senior Cup after a season away and have been drawn at home in the first round to Lea Valley Royals. The two sides met at the same stage in 2007 when Gadeside ran out 4-2 winners. The game is scheduled for the 3rd October at Westfield. Should Gadeside be successful, they will host current holders of the County Cup, fellow Watford Premier Division side St Josephs. The reserves meanwhile have a buy to the second round and face a trip to Stevenage side Breachwood Lions on 10th October.

Pre-season

Pre-season training continues this Sunday (1st August) at Northwood FC (off Chestnut Avenue, HA6 1HR). The session starts at 11am. There will be chaning facilities and showers available and the bar at the cricket club will open afterwards. Players are encouraged to bring along boots and running shoes and plenty of water.
