  Campbell, Hills 2, Khan
at Cassiobury Park

Gadeside Rangers maintained their 100% league record with a classy display to see off lowly Rising Eagles and - following other results in the league - opened up a six point gap at the top with a game in hand. Dan Campbell, Adam Hills with a brace and Tariq Khan grabbed the goals.
Following the week of heavy weather, the pitch was in a very poor state and heavy in the middle of the park. Gadeside looked to get the ball wide at every opportunity and had their visitors on the backfoot from the word go. Matt Evans had already headed over from an Ivanz Mani corner before Toby Zhou fed Dan Campbell who volleyed low into the far corner for his 15th goal of the season. However the lead was short lived at the hosts scored when Ostapski's deep free kick evaded Sam Green to loop into the net.
Gadeside continued to pile forward with Campbell and Zhou both off target. The lead was regained on 34 minutes when a good move from right to left saw Campbell find Adam Hills free in the box and the player/manager cooly slotted the ball home across the motionless keeper. The sticky conditons had made it difficult to play but Gadeside went in a goal to the good at half-time. The second half was more of the same as Gadeside enjoyed huge chunks of possession. Ivanz Mani was a constant threat down the right hand side while the midfield duo of Brooks and Shurville were on song. The lead was extended on the hour when Tariq Khan came off the bench to head in after a Brooks' piledriver came back off the crossbar.
Eagles were reduced to 10 men after a player received his second caution though they went close to pulling a goal back with another long range free kick which Green did well to turn around the post. The result was confirmed in the final few minutes when Adam Hills leapt like a salmon to head home a Tariq Khan corner. A confident and professional display for Gadeside who continue their excellent run.
