The senior XI will host a club racenight on Saturday 3rd March at the Holyrood Social Club, next to Westfield School. The first race of the evening will be 7.30pm and the bar will be open. All horses need to be sold prior to the night and each race needs to be sponsored. Horses are £5 each and it is £20 to sponsor a race. This is a whole club event and friends and family are welcome. Speak to your team manager if you would like to buy a horse or sponsor a race.

Gadeside Rangers ended a five game losing streak after thumping bottom club Mill End Sports at Westfield. Goals were shared around as Gadeside scored seven second half goals to ensure that they kept a safe distance between themselves and the bottom two in the league. Tougher tests will await Gadeside in the latter parts of the season but this was still a job done. Click here to read the match report.

Two further pieces of news this weekend. Firstly, the draws for the President's and Invitation groups have been made. The first team, aiming to defend their crown are drawn in Group B with Carpenders Park Rangers, Green Dragon and Mill End Sports while the reserves are in Group C and face Dome Bar Rangers, Sun Postal United and Sun Postal Sports. In other news, Watford Irish Reserves have resigned from division four and all their results have been expunged. This has a bad effect on the reserves league position as they had picked up two wins against the Irish already this season and they now sit in 6th place out of nine teams.
